For newlyweds, California’s Napa Valley is the perfect blend of relaxation and celebration – and if you are both foodies, then look no further! Your days could be spent wine tasting at legendary estates, enjoying private cellar tours or lingering over long, sun-soaked lunches, paired with exceptional local vintages.

Evenings in the Napa Valley are all about romantic Michelin-starred meals and cosy fireside drinks in beautifully designed hotels or boutique lodges.

If you’re not lovers of wine, you can explore downtown Napa’s art and food scene, kayak or paddleboard along the Napa River, visit Oxbow Public Market, or hike the trails of Westwood Hills Park.

There’s a reason why Hawaii is a trending travel destination right now and one of the best tropical places to honeymoon in the US. Hawaii truly has it all: romance, adventure and unforgettable beauty, all rolled into one gorgeous package! 

What makes the Hawaiian Islands so special is their diversity. Each island has its own personality, yet they all share that unmistakable sense of warmth, serenity and natural wonder.

On Maui, couples can explore the scenic Hana Highway, watch the sunrise at Haleakalā, or unwind on golden beaches with luxurious beachfront resorts.

Outside the city, Whistler has all the alpine charm, cosy lodges and spa experiences surrounded by snow-capped peaks – ideal if you are both fans of skiing! Couples can start their adventure in nearby Monterey, exploring the famous Cannery Row, strolling along the scenic coastline, or driving over the now iconic Bixby Creek Bridge. The town’s charm and coastal beauty make it a perfect first stop before heading south into Big Sur’s untamed landscapes.

In Big Sur itself, romance comes naturally. Imagine driving along Highway 1, stopping at hidden coves and taking in panoramic ocean views that stretch to infinity. There are luxurious lodges and boutique inns perched on cliffs, offering cosy fireplaces, private decks and sweeping vistas.

I can’t recommend the Yellowstone–Grand Teton–Glacier loop enough to adventurous couples wanting a multi-centre honeymoon. It is by far one of the best nature honeymoon destinations in the US, taking you through Wyoming, Montana and Idaho.

This classic road trip through the American Rockies combines iconic national parks, wildlife encounters and breathtaking scenery at every turn.

You can start in Yellowstone, where steaming geysers, bubbling hot springs and dramatic canyons create a sense of wonder that’s impossible to forget. You’ll be able to spot bison grazing in golden light, or share a quiet moment together beside Yellowstone Lake as the sun sets. 

From there, you can head south to Grand Teton National Park, where jagged peaks rise above pristine alpine lakes. The scenery is perfect for hiking, photography, or simply soaking in the beauty from a luxury lodge with floor-to-ceiling windows.

The final leg takes you north to Glacier National Park. As the name suggests, this gorgeous area is home to incredible glaciers, as well as turquoise lakes and winding mountain roads, all of which make every mile memorable.

Walking hand-in-hand through Old Quebec, you can explore quaint independent boutiques, charming cafés and historic landmarks, like the iconic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. Renowned as the world’s most photographed hotel, the castle-like building is perched dramatically on a cliff overlooking the St. Lawrence River.

In the winter, the city’s festive lights and charming markets add an extra layer of magic, while summer brings vibrant festivals and alfresco dining.
