21 Most Romantic Things to Do in Italy

Are you looking for a curated list of the most romantic things to do in Italy? I’ve got you covered!

When it comes to picking the most romantic things to do in Italy, it can be hard to narrow down the options. That’s because nowhere does romance quite like Italy – even a leisurely lunch in the heart of Rome can feel like a fairytale.

I’ve been lucky enough to travel extensively across Italy and while the country’s headline attractions are every bit as magical as everyone says, there are plenty of alternative options that will turn your honeymoon into the ultimate guide to romance.

You could spend one day sailing around islands, the next hiking through mountain scenery with no one else for miles around, and finish both with exceptional food and a glass of something local.

Whether you’re dreaming of luxury hotels on Lake Como, candlelit dinners in ancient cities or adventurous experiences you’ll be talking about for years, Italy has romance in every region with options for every type of couple.

To help inspire you, I’ve rounded up some of my favourite romantic things to do in Italy – from timeless classics to a few experiences you might not have considered adding to your honeymoon bucket list.

1 Take a gondola ride through Venice’s canals

A gondola on the side of a canal next to a quaint street with cafes in Venice

Some might say it’s overrated, but there’s something so romantic about gliding through Venice’s labyrinth of canals on a gondola!

Away from the crowds that fill St Mark’s Square and the main thoroughfares, a gondola ride reveals a quieter, more intimate side of this dazzling city. As your gondolier navigates beneath centuries-old bridges and past elegant palazzos, you’ll soon forget about everything (and everyone) else.

It’s an experience that will encourage you both to slow down and simply enjoy being together. No itinerary and no distractions!

You can take your gondola ride in the early morning, when the birds are still singing, in the afternoon after a few aperitivos, or as the sun is setting over the city.

Afterwards, you’ll be able to enjoy a leisurely stroll through Venice’s narrow backstreets, before finding a waterside wine bar. It isn’t hard to understand why Venice remains one of the world’s great romantic destinations – and why a gondola ride is one of the most romantic things to do in Italy!

Worth booking in advance
If it’s your first time in Venice, I recommend booking a private gondola ride rather than sharing with other travellers. It’s one of Italy’s most iconic romantic experiences and feels even more special when it’s just the two of you.

2 Watch the sunset over the Amalfi Coast from a private boat

Colourful buildings set in a cliff above the sea on Italy's Amalfi Coast

Few coastlines in the world compare to the Amalfi Coast and there’s no better way to experience it than from the water.

Being on a private boat is an experience that combines luxury, privacy and natural beauty. The colourful villages of Positano and Amalfi cling dramatically to the cliffs, hidden coves appear around every corner and the Tyrrhenian Sea sparkles in stunning shades of blue. It’s pure magic!

Whether you want a leisurely sail to quiet bays for sunbathing sessions, or you want to explore all of the region’s towns and villages, you can tailor your boat trip to suit you.

I highly recommend going as the sun begins to sink into the horizon, with a chilled glass of Prosecco in hand!

When you’re back on land, you’ll be able to keep the evening going with a waterfront dinner in Positano, where you can watch the lights twinkle across the coastline. It doesn’t get much better than that!

❤️ My recommended experience
The Amalfi Coast is one of those places that’s even more spectacular from the water. I recommend choosing a boat tour with plenty of time for swimming, exploring hidden coves and lingering on the water as the sun begins to set.

3 Enjoy wine tasting in Tuscany

A road winding through the Tuscan countryside at sunset

If there’s one image that captures the romance of rural Italy, it has to be a vineyard-covered hillside in Tuscany. It’s where you’ll find rolling countryside stretching towards the horizon and cypress trees along winding country roads.

If you add in a glass of exceptional wine and someone special to share it with, it’s easy to see why Tuscany is one of the most romantic places in Italy!

Wine tasting in this region is about far more than what’s in your glass. Many of Tuscany’s most beautiful wineries are set in historic estates that have been producing wine for generations.

They offer you the chance to slow down and savour both the scenery and the region’s rich traditions.

As you wander through rows of vines and learn about celebrated wines, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the landscape that makes them possible. After your tasting you can extend the experience with a lunch overlooking the vineyards.

❤️ My recommended experience
Choose a wine tasting that includes a vineyard tour and long Tuscan lunch. It’s the perfect way to slow down, discover Italy’s wine culture and enjoy one of the country’s most romantic regions.

4 Share a candlelit dinner in a cave restaurant

Ancient stone buildings in the city of Matera in Italy

For me, dinner is always more memorable when the setting is extraordinary, and few places in Italy can rival the atmosphere of Matera in Basilicata!

This destination is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and is famous for its ancient cave dwellings – many of which have been transformed into boutique hotels, bars and some of the most romantic restaurants you’ll ever find.

Carved directly into the limestone rock, Matera’s cave restaurants offer intimate dining rooms tucked into atmospheric grottoes. The combination of ancient surroundings, exceptional southern Italian cuisine and a slower pace of dining create an experience that is both intimate and unforgettable.

If you’re celebrating your honeymoon, Matera has a way of making the occasion feel even more meaningful. Before dinner, you’ll be able to spend time wandering through the city’s maze of stone streets and viewpoints. Afterwards, enjoy a leisurely stroll beneath the stars. It’s perfection!

❤️ My recommended restaurant
If you’re celebrating a honeymoon or special occasion, I’d recommend booking a table at Baccanti. It’s set inside one of Matera’s atmospheric cave spaces so it’s the perfect place to enjoy southern Italian cuisine in an unforgettable setting.

5  Stay in a luxury mountain chalet in the Dolomites

A view across a quaint, remote village under dramatic, snowy mountain peaks in the Dolomites

Italy is often associated with sun-drenched coastlines and vineyard-covered hills, but one of the country’s most romantic escapes can be found high in the mountains.

The Dolomites, with their jagged peaks, emerald valleys and storybook alpine villages, offer a completely different side of Italy; one that’s perfect for couples seeking a little adventure and seclusion.

Checking into a mountain chalet can feel like stepping into a fairytale. Think crackling fireplaces, floor-to-ceiling windows framing dramatic mountain views and private spa facilities designed for long, leisurely afternoons.

Many of the region’s luxury retreats blend traditional alpine charm with world-class hospitality.

The scenery is breathtaking all year round, too. Summer brings wildflower-filled meadows, scenic hikes and peaceful lakes, while winter transforms the landscape into a snowy wonderland straight from a Christmas card.

Whatever time of year you visit, there’s something wonderfully romantic about waking up to mountain views and spending your days exploring one of Europe’s most spectacular natural landscapes together.

❤️ My recommended stay
If you’re looking for a romantic mountain escape, Forestis Dolomites would be my first choice. The adults-only setting, incredible spa and panoramic mountain views make it one of Italy’s most luxurious honeymoon hotels.

6 Go sunset kayaking on Lake Garda

A view across Sirmione and the surrounding waters of Lake Garda

For couples who like a little adventure mixed into their romance, few experiences are as rewarding as kayaking across Lake Garda.

Italy’s largest lake is famous for its dramatic scenery, where shimmering water meets colourful lakeside towns and rugged mountains rise steeply from the shoreline. Seeing it from the water offers an entirely different perspective.

As you paddle away from the busy promenades and marinas, the atmosphere quickly becomes more peaceful.

The gentle sound of the water, the rhythm of your paddles and the vast mountain backdrop create a sense of calm that’s hard to find elsewhere. It’s an active experience, but it’s one that still feels relaxing.

You can hit the water early in the morning when no one else will be around, or choose an evening trip when the sun is setting. Whichever you go for, the scenery will be unforgettable!

After returning to shore, I recommend continuing the evening with an aperitivo beside the lake before settling into a waterfront restaurant for dinner.

❤️ My recommended experience
An evening guided kayak tour is my favourite way to experience Lake Garda. The calm water and golden light make it feel incredibly romantic.

7 Soak in natural thermal springs beneath the stars

Thermal pools in Tuscany, Italy

There are geothermal springs scattered across Italy, from Tuscany to Lazio. These naturally warm thermal waters have been used since Roman times, but they feel just as indulgent today as they ever did.

One of the most magical ways to experience them is after dark, when the crowds thin and the stars come out.

Steam rises gently from the pools, carrying a mineral-rich scent into the cool night air, while above you the stars seem impossibly bright. It’s a simple but magical experience!

Afterwards, you’ll be able to wrap yourselves in robes and enjoy a slow walk back through the quiet countryside, or head to a nearby trattoria for a late dinner and a glass of something local.

❤️ My recommended experience
Book a luxury spa experience that includes evening access to the thermal pools. Watching the stars appear while soaking in naturally warm water is one of Italy’s most relaxing romantic experiences.

8 Sail around Capri and swim in hidden coves

View of Capri island and the sea from Mount Salaro

Sailing around Capri is one of those experiences that manages to feel both effortlessly glamorous and deeply romantic at the same time. There’s a reason this area has long attracted artists and dreamers!

Capri is absolutely stunning. Towering limestone cliffs rise straight from the sea, hidden grottoes glow in electric shades of blue and secluded coves appear and disappear as your boat slips along the coastline.

The beauty of exploring by private boat is the freedom it gives you. You can pause wherever the water looks most inviting, dive into crystal-clear sea, then climb back aboard to dry off in the sun, with nothing but the sound of the waves around you.

You’ll also want time to explore Capri. You could head to the island for celeb-spotting, incredible gelato and unrivalled natural scenery.

A short sail will also take you to the nearby island of Ischia, which is known for its thermal springs, lush gardens and slower pace of life.

❤️ My recommended experience
I’d recommend a full-day private boat charter if your budget allows. It gives you the freedom to swim in hidden coves, explore Capri at your own pace and avoid the crowds.

9 Go truffle hunting together

A viewpoint across rural scenery in San Miniato, Tuscany

If you want alternative Italian honeymoon ideas, then you should definitely consider going truffle hunting.

This is a unique honeymoon experience that blends slow travel, intimacy and indulgence. You’ll wander misty woodland with a trained dog, following scent trails, before celebrating with a private tasting of freshly shaved truffle over handmade pasta.

In Piedmont, around Alba, you can join expert foragers in hazelnut groves during the white truffle season, often ending in candlelit tastings at Michelin-starred estates.

Or, in Tuscany, near San Miniato, you’ll find rolling hills and medieval villages that set the stage for intimate hunts followed by vineyard picnics.

If you want more privacy, the Umbrian forests around Norcia offer a wilder, more secluded feel. Otherwise, the Marche region, especially Acqualagna, is famous for its truffle culture and luxurious seasonal festivals.

Luxury lodges and countryside relais will make the trip even more special, offering spa treatments, private chefs and fireside dinners that extend the magic long after the forest walk ends.

❤️ My recommended experience
Choose a truffle hunt that finishes with a wine tasting or gourmet lunch. It’s a brilliant way to combine one of Italy’s best foodie experiences with the country’s incredible countryside.

10 Stay overnight in a traditional trullo

A traditional trullo house in Puglia, Italy

Italy is filled with amazing places to stay – like glamourous stately homes and romantic canal-side palazzos in Venice – but staying in a traditional trullo is one of the most quietly luxurious honeymoon experiences you can have!

These iconic whitewashed stone dwellings with conical roofs and soft candlelit interiors, feel like stepping into a fairytale.

The heart of the experience is in Alberobello, where UNESCO-listed clusters of trulli create winding, storybook streets. Many have been transformed into boutique accomodation with plunge pools, vaulted stone bedrooms and private terraces.

Just beyond, the Valle d’Itria region offers even more secluded options. In Locorotondo, you can can stay in restored trulli surrounded by vineyards and dry-stone walls, while nearby Martina Franca brings baroque elegance alongside rustic charm, often paired with gourmet dining experiences.

If you’re planning a romantic honeymoon in Italy, a unique hotel stay absolutely needs to be added to your must-do list!

❤️ My recommended stay
If you want to experience a traditional trullo without compromising on luxury, Trulli Damari is a beautiful choice. It combines authentic Puglian architecture with a peaceful countryside setting and a stunning pool.

11  Take a Vespa tour through the heart of Rome

A viewpoint towards a bridge and the ornate Vatican Basilica in Rome, Italy

Rome is a city of romance, drama and history, so taking a Vespa tour through the heart of the city can be a fantastic way to take in all the sights.

A private guide can glide you past the Colosseum at sunrise when the crowds haven’t yet arrived, then weave through Aventine Hill’s quieter lanes where orange blossoms and ivy-covered walls frame hidden viewpoints. It’s one of the most romantic activities in Rome!

READ MORE: Venice or Rome: Which Is Better for a Luxury Honeymoon?

If you decide to hire your own Vespa, you’ll be able to explore the city in your own way and at your own pace. But, if this isn’t your thing, you could opt for a horse-drawn carriage instead.

This experience can be undeniably romantic – slow, old-world and cinematic – but I know it isn’t for everyone and animal welfare (with heat and traffic stress) should be taken into account.

❤️ My recommended experience
If you’re not comfortable driving yourself, book a guided Vespa tour. You’ll cover far more of Rome while discovering hidden streets and viewpoints you might otherwise miss.

12  Watch the sun rise from a hot-air balloon

A hot air balloon over a vineyard in Tuscany, Italy

Hot-air balloons were made for romance and watching the sun rise over Val d’Orcia should definitely be on your honeymoon bucket list.

This romantic experience in Italy will be like floating through a Renaissance painting! You’ll be able to take in the rolling hills of southern Tuscany, as well as timeless hill towns like Pienza and even the vineyards surrounding Montalcino.

This is a deeply romantic experience and not just because of the view. Up in the air there will be no distractions, just the occasional burst of flame, the warmth of the basket and the sense that time has temporarily paused for the two of you.

Plus, many luxury operators enhance the experience with post-landing champagne breakfasts amongst the vineyards.

Worth booking in advance
Choose a sunrise flight that includes a champagne breakfast afterwards. Floating above Tuscany as the morning light hits the vineyards is a honeymoon memory you’ll never forget.

13 Cycle through Puglia

A quaint, white-washed street in a village in Puglia, Italy

If you’re seeking a slow, sun-drenched honeymoon experience, you have to consider exploring Puglia by bike. You won’t be rushing between sights; you’ll be gliding along quiet country lanes lined with ancient olive trees.

Valle d’Itria is the heart of it all, with gentle routes connecting dream towns like Locorotondo and Martina Franca, where baroque architecture and vineyard-covered hills create a constantly shifting postcard backdrop.

Many luxury experiences include stops at private masserie (restored farmhouse estates), where you can pause for chilled rosé, burrata tastings and shaded picnics.

Further south, rides near Ostuni are more dramatic: bright limestone buildings rising above a sea of green groves and blue sky. Even quieter routes around Cisternino offer near-total seclusion, so it’s perfect if you want the landscape almost entirely to yourselves.

❤️ My recommended experience
A guided cycling tour with vineyard or masseria stops is the perfect way to experience Puglia’s slower pace of life while discovering places you wouldn’t normally find.

14 Take a scenic train ride through Cinque Terre

Pretty, multi-coloured buildings set into a coastal cliff in Manarola, Cinque Terre

Cinque Terre is one of the most romantic places in Italy for couples. This string of five ancient, colourful fishing villages, all perched along the rugged Italian Riviera, are car-free and known for their dramatic cliffs, vineyards and scenic coastal trails.

There’s one extremely romantic way of exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site – and that’s by train. The little regional train hugs the coastline and slips in and out of tunnels, before suddenly revealing pastel villages and the endless Ligurian Sea.

Each stop is like a postcard: Monterosso al Mare has soft beaches and lemon groves, Vernazza has a tiny harbour framed by stacked houses, and Manarola glows in warm sunset tones.

Further along, Riomaggiore has steep stairways and hidden lookout points that are perfect for quiet moments together.

What’s even better is that you can stay as long as you like in each place, pausing for seafood lunches, coffee or cliffside aperitivos, or even a spontaneous swim in clear turquoise coves!

Luxury versions of the experience often include reserved first-class seating, curated picnic baskets and private guided walks through terraced vineyards.

❤️ My recommended experience
I’d combine the scenic train with a guided walking tour between one or two villages. It gives you the best of both worlds without feeling rushed.

15 Hike the Sentiero degli Dei (Path of the Gods)

Sunny coastal scenery along the Path of the Gods hike in the Amalfi Coast, Italy

If you’d rather get stuck into something a little more energetic, then why not hike the Sentiero degli Dei (Path of the Gods)?

This is one of those alternative honeymoon experiences that is both exhilarating and deeply intimate. High above the Amalfi Coast, this hiking trail winds between terraced cliffs, wildflowers and endless sea views – it’s totally dreamy!

Starting near towns like Agerola, the path gradually opens into sweeping panoramas, where you can spot the curve of the coastline all the way toward Positano. On clear days, the horizon feels infinite, broken only by sailboats drifting far below and the occasional bell from a distant hillside village.

With this experience, you can go at your own pace; moving slowly, pausing often, catching your breath not just from the climb but from the views themselves.

Luxury versions of the experience are available, too, often including private guides, chilled water and fruit stops along the way. Plus, a celebratory lunch when you reach Positano!

❤️ My recommended experience
Book a guided hike that finishes in Positano with lunch overlooking the sea. It’s one of the best ways to experience the Amalfi Coast beyond its beaches.

16  Take a private cooking class with an Italian chef

Fresh local produce on a table ready for a cooking class in Tuscany, Italy

A cooking class is an amazing way to fully immerse yourself in local culture. It can also be a very intimate, hands-on experiences that you won’t forget in a hurry, so I’d definitely say it’s one of the most romantic things to do in Italy!

Across regions like Florence, you might learn to roll fresh pasta or prepare slow-simmered ragu, under the guidance of a local chef. In the countryside around Bologna, classes often focus on stuffed pasta like tortellini, paired with private tastings of regional wines and aged balsamic vinegar.

READ MORE: 17 Best Honeymoon Destinations for Foodies (Insider Guide)

South in Sorrento, cooking becomes more sunlit and coastal – think handmade gnocchi, lemon-infused desserts and seafood dishes prepared with freshly-caught ingredients.

Or, if you’re staying somewhere more rural, in places like Umbria, cooking classes often take place in rustic farmhouses. You’ll be able to harvest vegetables from the garden before cooking them.

❤️ My recommended experience
Choose a small-group or private cooking class in someone’s home or countryside farmhouse. It feels far more authentic than a large tourist class and is one of my favourite romantic experiences in Italy.

17 Explore Sicily’s vineyards on the slopes of Mount Etna

Vineyards in Sicily, Italy

Sicily is one of Italy’s most romantic regions. From historic towns and gorgeous beaches, there’s something for every type of traveller. But did you know that the island’s iconic Mount Etna is home to slope-side vineyards?

Many journeys to these idyllic wineries begin from Catania, where luxury transfers carry you up toward Etna’s northern and eastern slopes.

In villages like Randazzo and Linguaglossa, boutique wineries welcome couples for private tastings in stone cellars carved from old lava flows.

Further along, the vineyards near Castiglione di Sicilia feel especially cinematic, with terraced slopes descending toward river valleys and orchards. They’re perfect for slow walks between tastings.

Many luxury estates pair wine flights with multi-course lunches prepared from local ingredients.

Some itineraries extend toward the coast, ending in Taormina, where cliffside aperitivos overlook the Ionian Sea at sunset. Essentially, this is the perfect choice for couples who want their honeymoon to feel both luxurious and a little bit wild!

❤️ My recommended experience
I’d recommend a tour that combines Etna’s vineyards with a winery lunch. The volcanic scenery makes this one of Italy’s most unique wine regions.

18 Visit the Vatican City at night

A viewpoint from the Vatican City in Rome

Vatican City is smallest independent nation-state in the world. It spans just 0.44 square kilometres (0.17 square miles) and has a population of under 1,000.

It’s entirely enclosed by the city of Rome and is an incredible place that’s home to some of the world’s most iconic landmarks, including the Sistine Chapel.

If you visit the Vatican City by day, you’ll be in for a treat. But the crowds and the heat can definitely take away some sense of romance. That’s why a trip at night is one of the best ways to experience it!

As evening settles over Rome, the atmosphere transforms completely. The vastness of St. Peter’s Square feels almost theatrical at night, with Bernini’s colonnades glowing softly and the usual daytime rush replaced by a calm, reverent hush.

For newlyweds, it becomes a place to simply wander slowly, talk quietly and take in the scale of it all without distraction.

On select evenings, parts of the Vatican Museums open for night visits, allowing a more intimate encounter with masterpieces like Michelangelo’s chapel ceiling.

The experience is less about checking sights off a list and more about lingering together and letting the artistry speak for itself.

Worth booking in advance
If night tours are available during your visit, they’re absolutely worth booking. You’ll enjoy a quieter, more intimate atmosphere than during the daytime crowds.

19 Explore Lake Como by vintage boat

View across water to the pretty town of Bellagio on a summer's day

Exploring Lake Como by vintage wooden boat is one of those honeymoon experiences that feels effortlessly cinematic. It’s like stepping into a slower, more elegant version of reality!

From the water, the shoreline reveals a string of impossibly beautiful villages. You might glide past Bellagio, where pastel villas and terraced gardens spill down toward the lake, or drift toward Varenna, with its romantic waterfront promenade and stone stairways climbing into hidden cafés.

Further along, the elegant town of Como offers grand historic villas and a livelier lakeside energy, best appreciated from the calm of the water, rather than its bustling streets.

Many private boat experiences include chilled Prosecco, curated playlists and stops for swimming in secluded coves. This is luxury sightseeing at its best!

❤️ My recommended experience
A private vintage wooden boat is one of the most luxurious ways to experience Lake Como. Add a bottle of Prosecco and you’ve got one of Italy’s most romantic honeymoon experiences.

20 Enjoy a private opera in Verona

An old stone bridge crossing a river in Verona

Verona is the city of Romeo and Juliet. It’s a quaint, historic and charming city that can be explored in a matter of days. It’s also a fantastic place to enjoy a private opera.

This is a honeymoon experience that feels like it was designed for romance – and it’s utterly sophisticated, too.

In summer, the legendary open-air setting of the Arena di Verona becomes especially magical, as centuries-old stone seating fills with soft light, champagne glasses and the hush that falls just before the orchestra begins.

For luxury honeymooners, private boxes or VIP terraces elevate the evening into something intimate and unhurried, where you can lean in close and share the performance without distraction.

Worth booking in advance
If you’re visiting during the opera season, I’d recommend booking premium seats at the Arena di Verona well in advance. The atmosphere is unforgettable.

21 Relax at a luxury spa retreat in South Tyrol

A view across the alpine town of Merano in Italy in summer

A luxury spa retreat in South Tyrol is the kind of honeymoon escape that feels almost too good to be true. Think Alpine air, thermal waters and a deep sense of restoration.

In Merano, elegant spa hotels blend Mediterranean warmth with Alpine scenery, offering outdoor infinity pools that seem to melt into mountain horizons.

You’ll be able to drift between saunas, thermal baths and silent relaxation rooms with views of vineyards and snow-dusted peaks.

Around Bolzano, you’ll find luxury wellness resorts that focus on natural materials and panoramic views of the Dolomites, with treatments inspired by alpine herbs and mineral-rich springs.

Or, further north in Bressanone, spa experiences often sit beside historic monasteries or river valleys, adding a subtle sense of history to the serenity.

❤️ My recommended stay
For a luxury wellness escape, I’d choose Hotel Chalet Mirabell. With its adults-only spa, infinity pools and Dolomite views, it’s the perfect place to slow down together.

How to choose your perfect Italy experience

I stopped myself at 21, but honestly, I could go on and on… I’ll give a few more ideas here, in case the above don’t quite fit your idea of romantic things to do in Italy.

How about a midnight gelato stroll in Rome or Naples? Or a photography tour through Matera at golden hour? You could plan a seafood lunch on a secluded Sardinian beach, or opt for a dreamy picnic among the vineyards of Langhe.

A rooftop aperitivo in Florence is never a bad idea, and neither is renting a vintage car and cruising the winding roads from Milan to Lake Como.

Italy has a way of turning ordinary moments into something cinematic and these honeymoon experiences are really just different expressions of the same idea: slowing down and being present.

Whether it’s drifting over Tuscan hills, sharing pasta you made together, or watching the sea from a cliffside trail, the magic isn’t in doing everything, it’s in choosing what feels most ‘you’ as a couple.

If you’re deciding what to include on your trip, think less about ticking boxes and more about rhythm. Balance one or two “iconic” experiences (like a Vespa ride in Rome or a boat on Lake Como) with slower, grounding moments (like a spa retreat in South Tyrol or a private cooking class in Florence).

It also helps to follow geography rather than criss-crossing the country. Pair nearby experiences (Tuscany + Umbria, or Amalfi + Sorrento), so the journey feels seamless instead of rushed.

And most importantly, leave space in the itinerary for nothing at all. In Italy, some of the most romantic moments happen between the plans. Basically, no matter where you go, you’ll have an effortlessly romantic honeymoon in Italy!
